A Leap of Faith

I actually started my crochet business back in my sophmore year of high school, where I had made hats, and scarves for my classmates, and they absolutely loved them. From time to time, they would ask what all I could do, but I couldn't give them an exact answer. So, I ventured online and challenged myself to see what all I could make. Off and on, I would have sales, but I wanted to see how far I could go.

On Dec. 31, 2014, I opened my first shop on Etsy, to see what was outside of my comfort zone. My business started to pick up again, because I am serving active duty in the Army, and my coworkers were astounded to learn that I had been crocheting for over 15 years. I also opened this shop as a New Year's Resolution, to stick with my hobby that has brought me a lifetime of comfort and relaxation when I didn't have anything to do.

I am also proud to have the support of my significant other, as he is always telling me to keep up the good work. I love what I do, and if you ask me now about what all I can make, my answer is Anything. I can make anything.
